Jessie Camacho

Jessie Camacho will be signing autographs in the Time Warner Cable booth at La Fiesta del Pueblo 2010 from 1:00pm to 3:00pm on Saturday!

Jessie Camacho is the host of Telemundo’s “Descontrol,” a weekend entertainment magazine program from Los Angeles, which offers young Hispanics the best and the latest in music.

Camacho has previously hosted other music shows, including “The Roof” on mun2, the cable channel for young U.S. Latinos; “Jamz” on HTV and “Remix TV” on LATV. She also served as host of Telemundo’s “Ritmo y Sabor” where she interviewed numerous personalities and introduced the best music from Latin America. She has also appeared on the big screen in four features, including “The Box,” “Crossbones,” “Champagne Gang,” and “Curse of Alcatraz.”

Born in Mayagüez, Puerto Rico, Camacho obtained a degree in criminal justice from Florida’s Valencia University Center.  Before her job in front of the cameras, she worked in law enforcement for five years and served as a Deputy Sheriff.
