La Fiesta del Pueblo 2011.

Thank you to our sponsors, and volunteers who helped make Fiesta a successful event

La Fiesta del Pueblo was a huge success this year.  For the first time the event was held in Downtown Raleigh, at Moore Square.   The weather cooperated and everybody had a great time.  Festival goers were happy that we returned the event outdoors.  The folkloric dances were spectacular.  The music was as good as ever.   The arts and crafts booths were rich with interesting products from Latin America.  The tacos, pupusas and helotes were delicious and the non-profit booths had a very productive day in reaching out to the over 7,000 festival goers.  We have a new partner, Marbles Children’s Museum.  Marbles hosted our Niñolandia fair on the north end of Zocalo (Moore Square) and inside their courtyard.  Over 500 of our Latino families discovered Marbles (insert link to their website) on Fiesta day, giving them access to a great learning experience for children under 12 years of age.
