The English as a Second Language Department of Wake County Public School System (WCPSS) and the Wake County Parent and Teacher Association (PTA) Council will be holding their first Annual K-12 International Family Conference: “Emerging Leaders” on Saturday, May 7, 2011, from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The conference will be held at Millbrook High School, 2201 Spring Forest Road, Raleigh, NC.
We will offer K-12 workshops for parents and students. The conference is free of charge to all attendees and community agencies. The objective is to provide parents with the educational tools to better help their children reach academic success, to graduate on time and to continue to pursue a higher education. Interpretation will be provided in the following languages: Arabic, Chinese, English, French, Korean and Spanish.
