P.A.R.E

Program of Assistance, Resources and Education for victims of domestic violence and sexual assault. PARE is a program from El Pueblo, Inc. created to inform and educate the Latino community about assistance, resources and education to the victims of domestic violence and sexual assault. PARE is a statewide net of people and agencies trained to direct victims of domestic violence and sexual assault to the most appropriate resources near their home location. PARE’s mission is to increase the provision of appropriate answers to the victims, taking into account their cultural and linguistic frame. To reach this objective, PARE establishes a connection with agencies such as NCCDV and NCCASA, which offer specific trainings to our coalition and is distributed to eleven different regions strategically located in the state of North Carolina. Each region has people and agencies with the capacity to provide information and references in Spanish on issues related to domestic violence and sexual assault.
