We are now recruiting for the Pueblo Power Program, a leadership and youth organizing program focused on learning about diverse justice issues that affect our community and how to take action. The program prepares youth to take an active role within the organization and in the community.

We are very grateful to over 150 donors and volunteers who helped us reach our goal of raising "$ 15kin 5days "  The campaign was a success. The total raised was approximately $ 15.722 including all contributions and pledges . The contribution page is still open.  Thursday April 25th, 6-9 pm at El Pueblo. Learn about the deferred action program (DACA). This workshop will review all requirements for DACA and how to fill out the applications. After this event, people who want to apply will be connected with attorneys that will help them free of charge to ensure that applications are filled out correctly. For more information, contact

We are currently recruiting 40 youth (ages 11-16) and their parents/guardians to participate in the Family Night Workshop led by El Pueblo’s youth promotores. The workshop’s main goals is to improve communication between parents/guardians and teens about sexuality issues.  This interactive workshop will include theater, small group activities and a panel of youth promotores. 

$15K in 5 Days! Through photographs and real testimonies of the community and members of the organization, we will be raising funds to support the valuable work that El Pueblo has done for 20 years and the impact of its programming in the community. As part of this campaign, we will also have information booths at several Latino businesses.

 El Pueblo seeks motivated individuals to work as paid phone canvassers for its “Get-Out-The-Vote” campaign for the 2014 Primary Elections.
•    Phone canvassers will serve as the direct contact between the El Pueblo and Latino voters in North Carolina.
