El Pueblo has recently begun offering a series of workshops geared towards promoting healthy decisions and empowered communication about sex among Latin@ teens in Wake County. On Wednesday March 27th, teens from all over Wake County participated in the first sexual health workshop hosted by El Pueblo’s trained youth leaders.
Our Rights Have No Borders is a reproductive health program for Latin@ youth living in Wake with the mission of training Latin@ youth on sexual and reproductive health as well as building a movement of Latin@ youth activists that focus on these topics. Through this program, El Pueblo, Inc. recruits, selects and trains Latino youth as reproductive health advocates and peer educators.
